There are good days, there are great days, and there is Loud Days!
The new financial year (EOFY) is a great time to be alive. Budgets are re-set, we get tax back as individuals, and businesses get to enjoy a ‘line in the sand’ of their performance over the last 12 months.
As an agency, we also know that EOFY is the time – along with the re-setting of budgets -to reset your agency relationships. So what better time to introduce ourselves (if we haven’t met before) and say a warm “welcome back” to our old friends.
We sat down with Loud Days General Manager, Mat Fagan, who when he isn’t falling in love with his newly born son, runs the agency to ensure that we deliver the highest level of service, generate high ROI-led results, and take the stress (and fluff) out of digital to ensure we get to the hard facts and data and turn this into meaningful business outcomes.
How did Loud Days get to where it is today?
Loud Days started as a social media agency back when Pinterest and Instagram didn’t exist, and paid advertising on Facebook was seen as ‘cheating’. From this systemised approach to content creation, and building 39 schedules per month – each with uniquely branded copy and content – came the ability to understand our clients’ needs, and translate this into digital, in a way that works.
Over the last 10 years, we have taken this business-first, client-led approach and applied this to every service offering. In 2022 we are a full-service digital marketing and media agency. Having recently been acquired by the ITC Group, Loud Days is able to offer IT services and development, and App design, development, and deployment through our new siblings (ITCC and AppMart) without the need for our clients to seek out solutions for themselves.
What is Loud Days’ mission and vision?
Loud Days’ mission is to be the leading global data-driven digital marketing & development agency and yes, we are well on our way. We have been working to leverage our expertise in marketing, media, IT, and development to implement business and marketing strategies that return true, tangale and solid results for our clients.
We only work with clients who understand that the client/agency is a relationship of two way communication and mutual respect, that we have been hired to do a job, and they have to let us do our job. And from this, we have seen an explosion of clients who are seeing high ROI, and low stress when it comes to their digital presence and strategy.
Do you have a particular ‘hero product’ that you are most proud of?
I know they aren’t a product, and understand that every agency says ‘our people’, but sometimes the cliche is there because it’s true. The Loud Days team are true professionals who care about the work that they do, and the outcomes they are here to get.
From those who quietly sit with their headphones in and review the data and performance inline with our KPIs, to the more active Account Managers who are constantly speaking with clients and getting as much information as the team can handle, the Loud Days team are a solid group of individuals who all work together for the greater good, smashing results!
And now, tell us a bit about you!
With aspirations of being the next U.N interpreter exposing international assassination plots like Silvia Broome (Nicole Kidman) in The Interpreter – I studied languages, moved to Central Java, Indonesia, and volunteered briefly as an interpreter for UNICEF following the Java earthquake. Shortly, after I returned to Australia into the world of advocacy for the WHO’s eye health program, I realised that communication and influencing behaviour (or policy) was at the core of marketing & advertising; so I returned to complete a Master of Marketing and have leveraged my diverse experience across a myriad of sectors and countries.
Where to now?
